Policy

It is QR's policy to dispose of surplus assets and material through competitive process such as auction and tender.

For certain materials/assets QR may also negotiate a sale directly with buyers or offer items for sale at a fixed price.

QR runs on site disposal auctions throughout Queensland. Items sold at these auctions include:



Workshops Plant	Lathes, Drills, Milling Machines, Sheet Metal and Wood Machines.

Furniture and Office Equipment	Desks, Chairs, Cupboards, Lockers, and Photocopiers.

Mobile Plant	Tractors, Forklifts, Compressors.

Non-Ferrous Scrap	Copper, Brass, Batteries, Aluminium, and White Metal.

Reusable Steel	Plate, RSJ, Angle, RHS.
