QR's Sponsorship Guidelines provides all the information you need on how QR can sponsor your event.


3. I would like a copy of the QR Annual Report sent to me. Can you let me know who I need to request this through?

You can download the Annual Report or request a copy to be sent to you by submitting an online enquiry.


4. Where can I out information about the history of QR?

From the first section of railway line opened in 1865 to the launch of the Tilt Train you will find it all in QR History. For further information contact QR Heritage on +61 7 3606 5238.


5. How do I find out what jobs are currently available and how do I apply for general employment?

See Positions Vacant for latest job offerings and postal addresses for applications for employment in your region of Queensland.


6. Where are the train timetables?

Our Citytrain Timetables allows you to search on your departure or destination station. Traveltrain's Journey Planner allows you to search for journeys throughout Queensland.


7. Can I book a journey over the Internet?

Traveltrain's TiltTrain Bookings allows you to book and pay for a journey on our Tilt Train.


8. How can I buy timber sleepers from QR?

When QR has a large quantity of timber sleepers that become redundant, they are put up for tender. For purchase of sleepers in the Brisbane Metropolitan and Regional area, please contact Hardwood Creations phone +61 7 3341 1458.


9. How can I buy rail from QR?

When QR has excess rail available for sale, it is advertised for tender. If no rail is advertised, then there is none available.


10. How can I buy redundant carriages from QR?

When QR has any number of carriages available for sale, they are put up for tender. When any carriages become available for sale, they are advertised for tender. If no carriages are advertised, then there is none available.
